What we install
Landscape installation brings together several trades in one project. Depending on your plan, it can include:
- site clearing, removal of rubble and old plants, and levelling
- soil preparation with compost and the right topsoil for beds and lawn
- irrigation pipes, valves and controllers, laid before planting
- paving, walkways, edging and decorative stone
- trees, shrubs, groundcovers and bed mulching
- instant lawn, rolled and watered in
Why the order of work matters
Most garden problems that appear a year later start with the sequence. Irrigation trenches dug through new lawn, paving laid before levels are checked, or plants placed before soil is improved all cost time and money to fix.
We work from the ground up: clear and level, sort drainage, run irrigation, build hard surfaces, improve soil, then plant and lay lawn last. Each stage is checked before the next begins.
Installing from your own plan
If you already have a design from a landscape architect or a previous contractor, we can price and install it. We will review it on site and flag anything that may need adjusting for your soil, slope or budget before work starts. If you do not have a plan yet, start with landscape design.
After installation
New plants and lawn need regular water and attention for the first weeks. At handover we explain watering, the first mow and what to look out for. If you would rather leave it to us, garden maintenance can start straight after installation.
Who landscape installation is for
- New homes with bare or builder's-rubble gardens
- Homeowners with an approved design ready to build
- Properties replacing tired lawns and beds in one project
- Commercial sites preparing grounds for opening or handover

Landscape Installation for Pretoria conditions
Timing matters in Pretoria. Spring and early summer give plants and lawn the warm soil and rain they need to root quickly. Winter installations are possible with irrigation, but growth is slower and frost can damage tender plants, so we adjust plant choice and protection to the season.
Frequently asked questions
How long does a landscape installation take?
It depends on size, access and the elements involved. A small front garden may take a few days; a full property with paving and irrigation takes longer. The timeline is set out in your quote.
Do you remove rubble and old plants?
Yes. Site clearing and removal can be included in the quotation so the garden starts on clean, level ground.
Can you install a garden in winter?
Yes, with irrigation and frost-hardy plants. Lawn and tender plants establish faster in spring and summer, so we will advise on timing for your project.
Will you install a design done by someone else?
Yes. We review the plan on site and price it as drawn, noting any changes we would recommend.
